Adaptive Cruise Control
Limitations
There are certain conditions in which ACC may not function correctly or disengage. In the case of the following conditions, you should operate the vehicle as necessary.
- When the vehicle is operating outside of the ACC speed range (less than 25mph or more than 90mph).
- During poor weather condition, such as fog or snow.
- When the road curves or when the lanes are narrow.
- When objects or vehicles in front of you are slow moving or stopped.
- When steering wheel operation or your position in the lane is unstable.
- When a vehicle cuts into your lane suddenly.
- When the vehicle in front of you is a motorcycle or similarly sized small vehicle.
- During heavy road traffic.
- When roads are hilly.
- When driving on a road surrounded by a structure such as a tunnel or a bridge.
- When the vehicle in front of you slows down suddenly.
